Gary Carter earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Apostolic Bible Institute. He received a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Hope International University in 2018. Gary served as the Texas District Global Missions Director for 18 years, pastored for 14 years in Gainesville, Texas, and was honored to serve 17 years at Texas Bible College, including 6 years as President.
Bro. Carter was a single parent for 10 years following the tragic death of his wife, Lydia, in a car accident. He is passionate about ministering to singles and providing tools for them to live overcoming lives. Currently, he travels with his wife, Cheryl, speaking on the topics of prayer, prophecy, spiritual disciplines, healing from loss and speaking to singles. He also serves as the Administrator / Principal of Lufkin Christian Academy.
