Dennis Long is first known as a Praise and worship leader. He has been singing Gospel music since he was eight years old then became dedicated to it at 16. He’s known as “Anointed”, in music ministry.
He served in the USAF for 20 years (1977-1997) retired MSGT. He was trained in the Intelligence and Nuclear Security Field. Earn State and National Certifications for Drug /Alcohol Abuse counseling and Mental Health counseling. He was stationed at Hanscom AFB, Boston, MA. and was awarded “The Outstanding Drug /Alcohol Abuse counselor of the Year (1987). He served as Head Usher for 9 years at the United Pentecostal Church of Boston, MA. He participated in Desert Storm/Desert Shield and was awarded The Outstanding Drug /Alcohol Abuse Counseling Office of the Year (1990) in Europe. He has been involved with Dallas First Church (DFC) ministry since 1997. His passion for DFC to reflect excellence was evident in the 9 years he served as Head Usher. Brother Long has been commissioned as an Elder of Dallas First Church since 04 May 2008. He continued pursing the best for DFC by taking on the responsibilities of Computer Technology Coordinator. He passed that responsibility on in July 2014. In December 2014 He married Kimberly Renee Smith. In 2015 He was appointed Singles Pastor at Dallas First Church. In 2016 He became a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church was appointed The Multicultural Director for the North Texas District. |
