Cheryl Carter is the founder and director of Texas Singles Conference. She was born in Houston, Tx and grew up in Cleveland, Tx. Life took an unexpected turn when she married later in life at the age of 45. She has the "t shirt" when it comes to experiencing the joys and challenges of living life as a single adult. During this season a passion was born to help others walking the same journey. One of her greatest joys is to see singles be ministered to and to plan trips and events for singles.
Cheryl has served as the Texas District Single Adult Ministry Director for 18 years and currently serves as the UPCI Single Adult Ministry Secretary. She has worked in management and administrative positions both in secular companies and non-profit organizations. Cheryl currently lives in Lufkin, Texas, with her husband Gary.
