Gilbert Salgado
Friday: Surviving the Torn Curtain
Gilbert Salgado is a graduate of Liberty University Theological Seminary, where he earned a Masters of Arts in Christian Ministry in Pastoral Counseling in 2013, and a Masters of Divinity in Chaplaincy 2017. Gilbert is also an endorsed healthcare chaplain by Occupational Chaplain’s Association, which is the endorsing body for the United Pentecostal Church International. He works full-time for Alters Hospice, as a healthcare chaplain. He is also an Intern in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas. He has served also in the United States Army for 5 1/2 years as a commissioned officer.
Ch. Salgado attends First Church of Harker Heights, Pastor Robert Hedrick, where he serves on the Ministry Staff, and is the department head for Life and Focus Ministries, which includes the Divorce Care program. He is also a member of the leadership committee for the Singles Department at First Church of Harker Heights. He is a full-time single father, he has two sons Simeon 13 and Josias 11 is also a child with Autism and Smith Magenis syndrome. |
