SESSION SPEAKER
SATURDAY morning breakout:  "DEALING WITH DELAY"

Ethan Szumanski is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and a licensed attorney in the State of Texas. From the age of four, before he could even read, he began memorizing Scripture, ultimately mastering thousands of verses over thirteen years of Bible Quizzing. That early devotion to truth and discipline cultivated a lifelong hunger for God’s Word and presence, shaping both his ministry and academic path.

At just sixteen, Ethan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State University. He went on to graduate summa cum laude and second in his class from South Texas College of Law Houston at nineteen, making history as the youngest graduate. Following law school, he published a law review article on religious liberty and served as Special Counsel in the Special Litigation Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office, where he litigated significant constitutional and public-policy cases on behalf of the State of Texas. He then clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and currently serves clerks at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has also taught Advanced Appellate Practice as an Adjunct Professor at South Texas College of Law Houston.

Alongside his legal career, Ethan remains deeply committed to ministry. He helped his parents plant a church in The Woodlands, Texas, over fifteen years ago, and he has served there faithfully ever since. In addition to regularly preaching, teaching, and serving on the music team, Ethan leads the prayer ministry at The Pentecostals of The Woodlands. He started a prayer initiative called Morning Manna, an early-morning prayer call designed to help believers develop a daily prayer walk. God has answered many prayers and performed many miracles through this endeavor. Ethan has also developed a discipleship curriculum to strengthen believers and solidify their Biblical principles.

Whether in the courtroom or the church, Ethan’s lifelong mission is not only to study truth, but to live it and defend it.
